Common use of Regional integration Clause in Contracts

Regional integration. 1. The Central Africa Party undertakes to harmonise the standards and other measures within the scope of this Chapter at regional level within four years of this Agreement's entry into force. 2. With a view to facilitating trade between the Parties and in conformity with Article 40, the signatory Central African States agree on the need to harmonise import conditions applicable to products originating in the territory of the EC Party when these products enter a signatory Central African State. Where national import conditions already exist at the time of this Agreement's entry into force, and pending the introduction of harmonised import conditions, the existing import conditions shall be implemented by the signatory Central African States on the basis that a product from the EC Party legally placed on the market of a signatory Central African State may also be legally placed on the market of all other signatory Central African States without any further restriction or administrative requirement.
