Regular Load Clause Samples

The 'Regular Load' clause defines the standard amount or schedule of goods, materials, or services to be delivered or performed under a contract. Typically, it specifies the expected quantity, frequency, or timing of deliveries, such as weekly shipments of a set number of units or routine service visits. By clearly outlining these expectations, the clause ensures both parties understand their ongoing obligations, reducing the risk of disputes over delivery schedules or performance standards.
Regular Load. The regular load is the faculty member’s workload obligation as authorized by the District. For a full-time faculty member, the regular load is the normal load, but the District may authorize a regular load of less than 1.00 FTEF.
Regular Load. No instructor shall be required to have a classroom workload equal to more than a 100% workload in any semester unless he/she agrees. If he/she agrees to work beyond 100% during a semester, an average of 100% shall be maintained within a four (4) semester period. Exceptions apply in the case of faculty working to eliminate underload status. A. Online course assignments are contingent upon departmental needs and the Distance Education (DE) approval processes governed by the Curriculum Committee and DE Committee. B. In no case shall a regular faculty member’s workload and overload per semester include an assignment of more than 30 activity points (.67 FTE) of online courses. In the case of a regular faculty member with a reduced workload, online assignments shall be limited to no more than 67% of the reduced workload. C. In the case of hybrid courses, the proportion if the course taught online shall count toward the calculation of total online load (example: a 9.0 activity point class taught as a 50/50 hybrid course would count as 4.5 activity points of online instruction).
Regular Load. If an online eLearning course is taught as part of the faculty member’s regular load, it will be compensated at the current full-time rate.
Regular Load. If an on-line DLC is taught as part of the Faculty member’s regular load, it will be compensated at the current full-time rate.
Regular Load. During the academic year, faculty are required to teach a Regular Load of thirty (30) Credit Hour Equivalents, exclusive of Overload. Credit Hour Equivalents will be computed as follows: The Course Section Factor will be determined based on the number of students registered in a given section at the census point of the Fall and Spring semesters, in accord with the following: A Course Section Factor of less than 1.00 may be increased to a factor of up to 1.00 upon the prior written approval of the Vice President and ▇▇▇▇ of Academic Affairs. Reasonable efforts will be made to assign faculty 15 Credit Hour Equivalents in the Fall and in the Spring. Faculty who do not meet the Regular Load requirement may be assigned administrative duties and/or non-credit course offerings at the discretion of the College.
Regular Load. As part of the forty (40) hour workweek, a full-time instructional faculty load shall be thirty (30) standard lecture hours (SLH) per academic year, with the general expectation of 15 SLH per semester. These hours are calculated as a full hour (1.00) of lecture or lab.
Regular Load. The overall load for a member of the Teaching Faculty shall be a maximum of twenty-four (24) Term Credit Hours (TCH) per academic year for ten-month (10-month) appointments, and a maximum of thirty (30) TCH per academic year, including the succeeding summer term, for twelve-month (12-month) appointments. These maximum TCH limits do not include Overload (cf. 2.2D).
