Release from Contract. An employee under contract shall be released from the obligation of the contract upon request under the following conditions: a. A letter of resignation must be submitted to Human Resources with a copy to the employee’s immediate supervisor. b. A release from contract prior to July 1 shall be granted provided a letter of resignation is submitted prior to that date. c. A release from contract after July 1 shall be granted provided a satisfactory replacement can be obtained. d. A release from contract shall be granted upon the employee’s request in case of illness as verified in writing by the employee’s physician.
