Release Numbering Convention Sample Clauses

The Release Numbering Convention clause establishes a standardized system for assigning unique identifiers to each version or release of a product, document, or software. Typically, this involves a sequence of numbers or a combination of numbers and letters that increment with each new release, such as "Version 1.0," "Version 2.1," or similar formats. By providing a clear and consistent method for tracking changes and updates, this clause ensures that all parties can easily reference, manage, and distinguish between different releases, thereby reducing confusion and supporting effective version control.
