Common use of Remaining Escrow Balance Clause in Contracts

Remaining Escrow Balance. As soon as reasonably practicable (and in any event not later than five business days) following the end of the Escrow Period, Siemens shall cause to be mailed to each Person entitled to a portion of the Remaining Escrow Balance pursuant to Section 2.1(c) a notice 7 14 setting forth (i) the amount of the Remaining Escrow Balance and (ii) instructions for obtaining the amount thereof to which each such Person is entitled pursuant to Section 2.1(c) from the Payment Agent. Upon compliance by each such Person with those instructions, such Person shall be entitled to be paid the applicable amount due under Section 2.1(c). Except as expressly provided in the Escrow Agreement, in no event shall interest be paid on any such amount.
