This clause usually outlines the procedure for reporting absences, such as the required timeframe for notification and the acceptable methods of communication, like phone calls or emails. By establishing clear expectations for reporting absences, the clause helps ensure workplace continuity and allows employers to manage staffing and workflow disruptions effectively.
