- Representation by the Association. The Association shall designate a reasonable number of representatives, and shall provide a written list of such representatives to the General Manager through the Labor Relations Manager. Substitutions to the list may be made at reasonable intervals. Any representative, so designated and requested by a Member, may represent the Member at all levels of this procedure. Time spent on the dispute outside of the normal working hours of the Member and/or the representative shall not be credited as time worked for any purpose. When a dispute is presented during normal working hours only that amount of time necessary to dispose of the dispute will be allowed.
- Representation by the Association. The City recognizes the exclusive right of the Association to represent members of the bargaining unit on all matters relating to employment conditions and employer-employee relations subject to the employee’s right of self-representation pursuant to Government Code § 3503.
