Representation in Disciplinary Meetings. In the event an employee is subject to disciplinary action and has reason to believe that such action may result from a conference with his superiors, said employee may be accompanied by a representative of the recognized employee organization.
Representation in Disciplinary Meetings. An employee who reasonably believes an interview with a member of management may result in discipline or discharge will, upon request, be permitted to have an accredited Union representative present at the interview. The supervisor conducting an interview with an employee shall so inform the employee as soon as s/he concludes an interview may result in discipline or discharge. Upon request, the University will furnish an interpreter to a non-English speaking employee with whom a disciplinary interview is being held, at the request of the employee, a Union representative will be present if available, when a formal warning is given the employee.
