Common use of REQUEST FOR INTERPRETATION Clause in Contracts

REQUEST FOR INTERPRETATION. 2.1 Bidders shall promptly notify the Town of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error which they may discover upon examination of the Contract Documents, the site, and local conditions. Failure to so notify Town shall constiute waiver of Contractor’s right to recover costs that may result from such ambiguity, inconsistency or error. 2.2 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the FMD Project Manager, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, at ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇. He can also be reached by phone at (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ or via facsimile (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇. The Town will only answer such requests if received by: 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2019. 2.3 Interpretation, correction, or change in the Contract Documents will be made by addenda which will become part of the Contract Documents. The Town will not be held accountable for any oral communication. 2.4 Addenda will be emailed to every individual or firm on record as having taken a set of Contract Documents.
