REQUEST FOR VARIANCE. An Employer seeking a project which exceeds the scope of the Agreement, may request, in writing, a variance from the Site Local Union Business Manager. The Business Manager shall either approve the variance, approve the variance with modifications or deny the variance within two business days of receiving such request. IBEW Local Unions 32, 82, 212, 317, 575, 648, 683, 688 and 1105 and the Central Ohio Chapter of NECA, the Cincinnati Chapter of NECA, and the Western Ohio Chapter of NECA enter into this Agreement in the interest of growing Market Share in the Indiana and Ohio counties listed herein. All provisions of the Inside Collective Bargaining Agreement shall apply unless modified herein. • office buildings • warehouses • shopping centers • gas stations • auto sales agencies and garages • food service centers • churches • restaurants • funeral homes • entertainment facilities • nursing homes • hospitals • hotels, motels • clinics • retail and wholesale facilities • residential buildings • Solar projects (1,500 panels or less) unless otherwise covered under the Agreement • Lighting Retrofits (when not associated with remodels involving branch re-circuiting) o Lighting Retrofits shall be defined as the changing of lamps and ballasts in existing light fixtures and shall also include the one for one replacement of existing fixtures • Small stand-alone manufacturing facilities when free standing and not part of a larger facility (not to exceed 50,000 square feet).
