Common use of Request submittal Clause in Contracts

Request submittal. Request must be submitted in advance by the employee directly to his/her supervisor and may not be taken until specific approval has been granted by the supervisor. Employees should submit these requests at least one month in advance when possible. Requests shall normally be denied when submitted less than five full work days in advance, although the Superintendent (or designee) may waive this advance notice requirement in the case of unusual circumstances.
