Common use of Requests for PTO Clause in Contracts

Requests for PTO. covering in any part the months of June, July and August shall be submitted no earlier than January 1 of the same calendar year. All such requests submitted prior to February 1 will be granted based on seniority, except that nurses shall not be eligible to exercise such right of seniority over less senior nurses if they exercised that right for the same period of time off (i.e. for a period within the same calendar month) during the preceding year. The Employer shall provide a response to such a request by February 15. Requests for June, July and August PTO received after February 1, will be based on earliest date of request.
