Common use of Requests for References Clause in Contracts

Requests for References. In response to any requests for references from prospective employers, the Company will follow its established practice of directing such requests to Human Resources, which will verify dates of employment, positions held and, upon request, last annual salary, and will tell the inquiring party that it is Company policy to provide only such information.
