Common use of Required Completion Date Clause in Contracts

Required Completion Date. The Unit owner shall cause the Work (other than decorative work such as painting, wallpapering and carpeting) to be completed on or before the date (the “Required Completion Date”) which is 120 days (excluding weekends and holidays) after the commencement of the Work. If the Work (other than decorative work as aforesaid) shall not be completed on or before the Required Completion Date, the Unit owner shall pay to the Condominium, as liquidated damages on account of late completion, the sum of $100 per day (excluding weekends and holidays) until the Work is completed. The determination of whether the Work is completed shall be made by the Condominium, and the Condominium’s determination shall be conclusive.
