Common use of Required Copayments for Package C Members Clause in Contracts

Required Copayments for Package C Members. Any cost-sharing imposed on members must be in accordance with requirements at 42 CFR 447.50 through 42 CFR 447.82, 42 CFR 438.108, and sections 1916(a)(2)(d) and 1916(b)(2)(D) of the Act. As required under 407 IAC 3-10-3, for Package C members only, Contractor shall require copayments in the following amounts for prescription drugs: ▪ Three dollars ($3) for generic, compound, and sole source drugs; and ▪ Ten dollars ($10) for brand name drugs. Contractor shall require copayments to be paid to providers, who may deny services if member does not make the required copayment.
