Requirements as to Value at Risk Sample Clauses

The 'Requirements as to Value at Risk' clause sets out specific standards or thresholds regarding the maximum amount of financial exposure a party may assume under a contract or transaction. Typically, this clause will detail how value at risk (VaR) is to be calculated, the frequency of such calculations, and any reporting obligations related to risk exposure. For example, it may require that a party's VaR does not exceed a certain percentage of their capital or mandate regular risk assessments. The core function of this clause is to manage and limit financial risk, ensuring that parties do not take on excessive exposure that could threaten their financial stability or the integrity of the agreement.
