Research and Teaching Commitments. The LHN is required to facilitate education, training and research for which funding, if applicable, is identified within Schedule 4, and ensure compliance with the responsibilities outlined below. The LHN is required to have a clearly articulated education, training and research strategy that positions education, training and research as a foundation for quality and safety in health care. The education, training and research strategy is reported against annually and includes but is not limited to the following key areas: • Learning and development • Clinical education and training • Medical profession specific • Research
