RESERVATIONS TO MANAGEMENT. 2.01 The union recognizes, that it is the function of the company to hire, promote, demote, transfer, discipline, suspend, or discharge any employee for just cause, subject to such regulations and restrictions governing the exercise of these functions as are expressly provided in this agreement and subject to the right of the employee concerned to lodge a grievance in the manner and to the extent herein provided. 2.02 The union recognizes, that it is the function of the company to operate and manage its business in all respects in accordance with its commitments and responsibilities, and that the location of plants, the products to be manufactured or dealt with, the schedules of production and distribution, the methods, processes and means of manufacturing, and dealing with such products are solely the responsibility of the company. 2.03 The company also has the right to make and alter, from time to time, rules and regulations to be observed by the employees, which rules and regulations will not be inconsistent with the provisions of this agreement. Such rules and regulations shall be posted on the office bulletin boards.
