Reserved Functions – Primary Dental Services Clause Samples

The 'Reserved Functions – Primary Dental Services' clause defines specific responsibilities or activities within primary dental care that are exclusively retained by a particular party, typically the commissioning authority or provider. In practice, this means that certain key functions—such as the approval of treatment plans, oversight of clinical standards, or management of patient records—cannot be delegated to subcontractors or third parties. By clearly delineating which functions are reserved, the clause ensures that critical aspects of dental service delivery remain under direct control, thereby maintaining quality, compliance, and accountability within the primary dental services contract.
