Common use of Resignation by Trustee Clause in Contracts

Resignation by Trustee. The Trustee and any successor Trustee may at any time give written notice of its intention to resign as Trustee hereunder, such notice to be given to the Agency and the City by registered or certified mail. Upon receiving such notice of resignation, the Agency shall promptly appoint a successor Trustee. Any resignation or removal of the Trustee and appointment of a successor Trustee shall become effective upon acceptance of appointment by the successor Trustee. Upon such acceptance, the Agency shall cause notice thereof to be given by first class mail, postage prepaid, to the Bond Owners at their respective addresses set forth on the Registration Books.

Upon such acceptance, the Agency Authority shall cause notice thereof to be given by first class mail, postage prepaid, sent to the Insurer and the Bond Owners at their respective addresses set forth on the Registration BooksBond Register.
