Respectful Environment Complaints. If an employee wishes to bring forward a complaint about discriminatory behaviour as described in Article 3.02, the employee shall have recourse to either or both University Policy #3 or the grievance procedure as set out in Article 8 of this Collective Agreement. If an employee wishes to bring forward a complaint about bullying or harassment as described in Article 3.03, the employee shall have recourse to either or both of the University’s Respectful Environment Statement or the grievance procedure as set out in Article 8 of this Collective Agreement. Grievances arising from this Article may be referred directly to Step 3 of the grievance procedure and shall be treated in strict confidence. In such cases, a bargaining unit member involved in an investigation shall have the right to Union representation. All such matters shall be investigated in a timely manner.
