1. Validate a 14 digit Calling Card number where the first 10 digits are a line number or special billing number assigned by BST, and where the last four digits (PIN) are a security code assigned by BST.
2. Determine whether the Local Exchange Company has identified the billing number as one which should not be billed for collect or third number calls, or both.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTIES. 4.1 CLEC shall be responsible for modifying and connecting any of its systems with AT&T-21STATE-provided interfaces, as outlined in Attachment 07 – Operations Support Systems (OSS), and CLEC agrees to abide by AT&T-21STATE procedures for ordering Resale Services. CLEC shall obtain End User authorization as required by applicable federal and state laws and regulations and assumes responsibility for applicable charges as specified in Section 258(b) of the Act.
4.2 CLEC shall release End User accounts in accordance with the directions of its End Users or an End User’s authorized agent. When a CLEC End User switches to another carrier, AT&T-21STATE may reclaim the End User or process orders for another carrier, as applicable.
4.3 CLEC will have the ability to report trouble for its End Users to the appropriate AT&T-21STATE maintenance center(s) as provided in the CLEC Online Handbook(s). CLEC End Users calling AT&T-21STATE will be referred to CLEC at the telephone number(s) provided by CLEC to AT&T-21STATE. Nothing herein shall be interpreted to authorize CLEC to repair, maintain, or in any way touch AT&T-21STATE’s network facilities, including without limitation those facilities on End User premises.
4.4 CLEC’s End Users’ that activate Call Trace, or who are experiencing annoying calls, should contact law enforcement. Law Enforcement works with the appropriate AT&T-21STATE operations centers responsible for handling such requests. AT&T-21STATE shall notify CLEC of requests by its End Users to provide call records to the proper authorities. Subsequent communication and resolution of each case involving one of CLEC’s End Users (whether that End User is the victim or the suspect) will be coordinated through CLEC. AT&T-21STATE shall be indemnified, defended and held harmless by CLEC and/or the End User against any claim, loss or damage arising from providing this information to CLEC. It is the responsibility of CLEC to take the corrective action necessary with its End User who makes annoying calls. Failure to do so will result in AT&T-21STATE taking corrective action, up to and including disconnecting the End User’s service.
4.5 CLEC acknowledges that information AT&T-21STATE provides to law enforcement agencies at the agency’s direction (e.g., Call Trace data) shall be limited to available billing number and address information. It shall be CLEC’s responsibility to provide additional information necessary for any law enforcement agency’s investigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTIES. 3.1 Each Party shall contribute to the efficient implementation of the Project Plan by carrying out the tasks allocated to it thereunder and shall cooperate, perform and fulfil on time, all of its obligations under this Consortium Agreement as may be reasonably required from it and in a manner of good faith.
3.2 Each Party undertakes to notify as soon as possible the other Parties of any significant information, fact, problem or delay likely to affect the Project.

The Party that involves third parties or Affiliates for the execution of its Project tasks shall at all times remain responsible for the execution of its relevant part of the Project and for such third party’s or Affiliate’s compliance with the provisions of this Consortium Agreement. In addition the Party has to ensure that the involvement of third parties or Affiliates does not affect the rights and obligations of the other Parties under this Consortium Agreement.
3.6 In connection with the reporting requirements of the TKI and the Ministry, Parties acknowledge that the Knowledge Institute shall provide both the TKI and the Ministry with financial reports as well as scientific reports (which may include an abstract of the Project Plan) of the Project. Each Party shall provide promptly all information reasonably required by the Knowledge Institute to carry out this task.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTIES. A. The Faculty of an academic unit, in accordance with the curricular provisions of the academic unit’s section of the Faculty Handbook, have the primary responsibility for selecting the content of courses. All courses are subject to curricular requirements and specifications established by the unit, as outlined in the academic unit’s section of the Faculty Handbook and the curricular regulations of the college, if applicable, and the University. These expectations pertain to courses taught through distance education modalities as well as those offered in the traditional classroom setting and modalities. An academic unit's curricular authority and oversight responsibility for its course offerings extends to the right to review individual course offerings being delivered for the first time in new or modified formats or time frames for conformity with the unit's established curricular expectations and purposes for the course. Likewise, review and approval of instructors afforded distance education instructional opportunities (development or teaching) will follow the unit’s established standards, expectations and review processes as stated in the unit’s section of the Faculty Handbook.
B. The textbooks and learning materials for distance education courses shall be selected in the same manner as they are for traditional courses. Any additional requirements that expand upon the Basic Data Sheet and catalogue description that has been approved by the departmental Faculty shall be included in writing with the teaching assignment/workload statement that is provided in accordance with Article IX of this Agreement.

Section D. In addition to the responsibilities that may be provided elsewhere in this Agreement, the following shall be observed:
1. The applicable procedures of this Agreement will be followed for the settlement of all Grievances. All grievances shall be considered carefully and processed promptly in accordance with such procedures.
2. There shall be no interference with the rights of employees to become or continue as members of the Union.
