Common use of Responsibility for Agents and Contractors Clause in Contracts

Responsibility for Agents and Contractors. At all times and during both the Preconstruction and Construction Phases, the Contractor shall be responsible to the Department for any and all acts and omissions of the Contractor’s agents, employees, Subcontractors, Sub-Subcontractors, material suppliers, and laborers, and the agents and employees of the Subcontractors, Sub-Subcontractors, material suppliers, and laborers performing or supplying Work in connection with the Project.

Responsibility for Agents and Contractors. At all times and during both the Preconstruction and Construction Phases, the Contractor Construction Manager shall be responsible to the Department for any and all acts and omissions of the ContractorConstruction Manager’s agents, employees, Subcontractors, Sub-Subcontractors, material suppliers, and laborers, and the agents and employees of the Subcontractors, Sub-Subcontractors, material suppliers, and laborers performing or supplying Work in connection with the Project.
