Common use of Responsibility for Work Clause in Contracts

Responsibility for Work. 25.1 The Contractor assumes full responsibility for the work. Until its final acceptance, the Contractor shall be responsible for damage to or destruction of the work (except for any part covered by partial acceptance as set forth in Section 26). Contractor agrees to make no claims against the Owner for damages to the work from any cause (except negligence or willful acts of the Owner), acts of an enemy, acts of war, or as provided for in Section 32.
