RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL. Each employee will be held responsible for the condition of that part of the plant under his control and everything in and about the plant shall be kept clean and in good order.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL. (i) The Resident must be responsible in their consumption of alcohol in the Colleges. Competitive drinking practices and drinking games of any kind are not permitted. (ii) The consumption of alcohol will not be accepted as a reasonable explanation or absolve accountability for unacceptable behaviour or damage to property. The Resident will be required to pay for damages or cleaning resulting from alcohol consumption in accordance with clause 15. (iii) The University may take disciplinary action, as per the Student General Conduct Policy, against a Resident for behaviour constituting misconduct, including conduct which is disorderly, lewd or indecent.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL. The subcontractor shall ensure that each of its employees are responsible for Government property as follows: An employee has a duty to protect and conserve Government property and shall not use such property, or allow its use, for other than authorized purposes. Additional responsibilities include the following: 2.7.1. Reporting any missing or un-tagged (meeting the criteria for control) equipment, transfer, location change, or user change of equipment to the property custodian immediately. Notifying the property custodian, supervisor, and the Center security officer immediately if theft of Government property is suspected. 2.7.3. Ensuring that equipment is used only in pursuit of approved NASA programs and projects. 2.7.4. Notifying the property custodian of equipment not actively being used for determination of proper disposition. 2.7.5. Ensuring that equipment is returned through the property custodian when no longer needed. Under no circumstances will an employee throw away Government equipment. 2.7.6. Assigned users retain all responsibilities including notifying property custodians of all activity associated with the user’s assigned equipment.

  • RESPONSIBILITY OF CONSULTANT Consultant shall take all responsibility for the work, shall bear all losses and damages directly or indirectly resulting to Consultant, to any subcontractor, to the City, to City officers and employees, or to parties designated by the City, on account of the performance or character of the work, unforeseen difficulties, accidents, occurrences or other causes to the extent predicated on active or passive negligence of the Consultant or of any subcontractor.

  • RESPONSIBILITY FOR AWARDS The Supplier acknowledges that each Contracting Body is independently responsible for the conduct its award of Call-Off Contracts under this Framework Agreement and that the Authority is not responsible or accountable for and shall have no liability whatsoever in relation to: 6.1 the conduct of Other Contracting Bodies in relation to this Framework Agreement; or 6.2 the performance or non-performance of any Call-Off Contracts between the Supplier and Other Contracting Bodies entered into pursuant to this Framework Agreement.

  • Responsibility of Contractor a. Contractor shall be held strictly responsible for the proper performance of all work covered by the Contract Documents, including all work performed by Subcontractors. All work performed under this Contract shall comply in every respect to the rules and regulations of all agencies having jurisdiction over the Project or any part thereof. b. Contractor shall submit Verified Reports as defined in §§4-336 and 4-343 (c), Group 1, Chapter 4, Part I, Title 24, California Code of Regulations (“CCR”). The duties of the Contractor are as defined in §4-343, Group 1, Chapter 4, Part I, Title 24, of the CCR. Contractor shall keep and make available a copy of Title 24 of the CCR at the job site at all times. c. Where, because of short supply, any item of fabricated materials and/or equipment, indicated on drawings or specified is unobtainable and it becomes necessary, with the consent of the Project Manager, to substitute equivalent items differing in details or design, the Contractor shall promptly submit complete drawings and details indicating the necessary modifications of the work. This provision shall be governed by the terms of the General Conditions regarding Submittals: Shop Drawings, Cuts and Samples. d. With respect to work performed at and near a school site, Contractor shall at all times take all appropriate measures to ensure the security and safety of students and staff, including, but not limited to, ensuring that all of Contractor’s employees, Subcontractors, and suppliers entering school property strictly adhere to all applicable District policies and procedures, e.g., sign-in requirements, visitor badges, and access limitations.
