Responsibility to Report. All unsafe conditions shall be immediately reported by the employee to the employee’s supervisor. The supervisor shall attempt to resolve the safety complaint. If the supervisor is unable to resolve the safety complaint, it shall be forwarded to the Director or his designee who will determine if corrective action can be implemented to eliminate or reduce the potential danger or hazards. If, after action is taken by the Director, the employee believes the reported unsafe working condition still exists, the employee may request that the issue be submitted to the above referenced committee for review.
