Common use of Restocking Fees Clause in Contracts

Restocking Fees. A. The Contractor may bill the City restocking fees (if specifically authorized by this Contract) for parts that are Ordered by the City under the Contract and returned for refund. The Contractor is not obligated to accept for refund any part that is not resalable and/or not in the same condition as when purchased. B. Restocking fees may be charged to the City when multiple parts or groups of parts are returned for refund at one time due to the City inventory warehouse cleaning, unless these parts are returned at an annual pre-arranged date. The date for the annual return shall be mutually agreed upon between the City and the Contractor.
