RESTRICTIONS AND PROTECTIONS. a. All good faith efforts shall be made to ensure that each Mentor Teacher is assigned only one (1) Resident Educator. b. Other than a notation to the effect that a teacher served as a Mentor Teacher, the teacher’s activities as a Mentor Teacher shall not be part of that staff member’s evaluation. c. Mentor Teachers shall not be requested or directed to make any recommendation regarding the continued employment of the Resident Educator, nor shall a Mentor voluntarily provide such information or recommendation. If a Mentor Teacher makes any employment recommendation, such action shall constitute grounds for immediate removal from his/her role as a Mentor.
