Common use of Restrictions Reasonable Clause in Contracts

Restrictions Reasonable. 11.1 While the parties consider the restrictions contained in Clauses 9 and 10 to be reasonable in all the circumstances, it is recognised that such restrictions may fail for technical reasons unforeseen. It is accordingly agreed and declared that, if any such restrictions are adjudged to be void for any reason, but would be valid if part of the wordings thereof were deleted or the periods or scope (if any) thereof were reduced, such restriction shall apply with such modifications as may be necessary to make it valid and effective.
