Common use of Retainer Clause in Contracts

Retainer. 1.1.1. COUNTY does hereby retain A-E to perform the PROJECTS/SERVICES as required by this CONTRACT. 1.1.2. A professional, duly registered in the State of California, who shall be assigned to PROJECTS/SERVICES and whose services are offered by A-E and accepted by COUNTY is ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇, PE. 1.1.3. A-E may employ special consultants/contractors for the accomplishment of the PROJECTS/SERVICES specified; and, it is agreed that only the following firms or independent consultants/contractors are to be employed to provide these PROJECTS/SERVICES, and that the aggregate money value of their PROJECTS/SERVICES shall not constitute more than forty-nine percent (49%) of the total amount of PROJECTS/SERVICES required under this CONTRACT: ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Surveying and Mapping, Inc. – Surveying/Right of Way Engineering 1.1.4. A-E's employment of independent consultants/contractors shall not relieve A-E from the performance of its own responsibilities pursuant to this CONTRACT.
