Common use of Retention Index Clause in Contracts

Retention Index. On a periodic basis, but not less than once in 23 any twelve (12) month period, each employee will be assigned by 24 the Company a retention rating as follows, giving consideration to 25 the employee’s competence, diligence, and demonstrated usable 26 capabilities as well as current and previous performance. Length 27 of Company service will be a positive factor to the extent that the 28 experience so gained continues to be reflected in increased capability.
