Retention Rating. The Company will establish and communicate to the employees and the 44 Union, a retention rating process consisting of three (3) categories. Employees will be given written 45 notification of their rating. 46 i. Category A shall represent the employees rated in the top 70% of the employees in each 48 classification. 49 50 ii. Category B shall represent the employees rated in the next 20% of the employees in each 51 classification. 52 iii. Category C shall represent the employees rated in the lowest 10% of the employees in each 54 classification. Employees rated in Category C will be notified of their vulnerability to layoff 55 during a reduction-in-force. 56
