Retired Software Sample Clauses

The 'Retired Software' clause defines how software that is no longer supported or maintained by the provider is handled under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the process for notifying users when software is being retired, the timeline for discontinuation of support, and any rights or obligations that continue after retirement, such as data access or transition assistance. Its core function is to set clear expectations for both parties regarding the end-of-life of software products, thereby minimizing disruption and ensuring users can plan for alternatives or upgrades.
