RETURN FROM LEAVES OF ABSENCE. All teachers on an unpaid leave of absence must give written notice to the director of human resources by March 15th of the year the leave expires of the teacher’s intention to return, request an extension, or resign. Failure to furnish such notice may, at the discretion of the Board, lead to dismissal proceedings in accordance with the Tenure Act.
