Common use of Return from Unpaid Leave Clause in Contracts

Return from Unpaid Leave. A Bargaining Unit Member returning to work from an unpaid leave shall be reinstated to the position or equivalent (no testing required) from which s/he held prior to the leave and without any loss of salary and benefits. A request by the Bargaining Unit Member to return to work prior to the expiration of his/her leave shall be granted within thirty (30) days of the request.
