Return of Cases. FTB-COD, at its sole discretion, may return any case that has been pursued for collection to the most practicable extent. Cases will be returned to the Court/Client when the following conditions apply: • After 12 months when a case does not have or FTB-COD cannot verify social security number (SSN) provided by client, and known assets and payments have been collected. • After 24 months when the case has a social security number but we have no activity. • Debtor files Bankruptcy. • Higher priority debt has been confirmed. • Confirmation of a deceased debtor. • A zero balance due.
