Common use of Return to Work on a Part-Time Basis Clause in Contracts

Return to Work on a Part-Time Basis. Subject to this clause, an employee is entitled to return to work after maternity/adoption/surrogacy leave on a part-time basis until the child’s second birthday at the level of the employee’s regular appointment. The days and hours for the part-time arrangement will be as agreed between the Chief Executive DECD (or delegate) and the employee.
