Revised Vesting Period and Forfeiture Sample Clauses

The Revised Vesting Period and Forfeiture clause defines the updated timeline over which an individual earns rights to certain benefits, such as equity or stock options, and outlines the conditions under which unvested benefits may be lost. Typically, this clause specifies a new vesting schedule—such as changing from a four-year to a three-year vesting period—and details scenarios like resignation or termination that would result in forfeiture of unvested shares. Its core function is to clarify the updated terms for earning and potentially losing benefits, thereby managing expectations and reducing disputes over entitlement.
