RID CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT. The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Inc., have set forth the following principles of ethical behavior to protect and guide interpreters, translators and the hearing and deaf consumers. Underlying these principles is the desire to ensure that all have the right to communicate. This Code of Ethics applies to all members of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and to all certified non-members.
