Common use of Right to Copy Clause in Contracts

Right to Copy. The employee will have the right to obtain a copy of any of the contents of their personnel file at no cost to the employee. With respect to employees who are separated from employment, upon the employee’s written request, the School District will provide a copy of the personnel file to the employee at no cost to the employee. Providing a copy of the separated employee’s personnel file to the employee satisfies the School District’s responsibility to allow review as stated in Subd. 1 of this Section.
