Common use of Right to Inspect Records Clause in Contracts

Right to Inspect Records. A. CONTRACTOR agrees that CITY shall have access to and the right to examine any relevant books, documents, papers and records of CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR’s subcontractor involving transactions relating to this Contract. CONTRACTOR agrees that CITY shall have access during normal working hours to all CONTRACTOR and subcontractor facilities and shall be provided adequate and appropriate work space in order to conduct audits. B. CONTRACTOR further agrees to include in subcontract(s), if any, a provision that any subcontractor agrees that CITY shall have access to and the right to examine any relevant books, documents, papers and records involving transactions relevant to this Contract, and further, that CITY shall have access during normal working hours to all CONTRACTOR or subcontractor facilities and shall be provided adequate and appropriate work space, in order to conduct audits.
