Common use of Right to Refuse Unsafe Work Clause in Contracts

Right to Refuse Unsafe Work. An employee or group of employees who believe they are being required to work under conditions which are unsafe or unhealthy, shall inform the supervisor of their refusal to perform said work. The supervisor shall comply with the procedures as set out in Section 43 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act in effect at the time of signing this Collective Agreement.
