Common use of Right to Represent Clause in Contracts

Right to Represent. The exclusive representative shall have the right to represent members of the unit in employment relations with Envision Education. Envision Education and Envision United recognize the right of employees to form, join and participate in the activities of an employee organization and the equal alternative right of employees to refuse to form, join or participate in employee organization activities. Unit members shall also have the right to represent themselves individually in their employment relations with Envision Education, but not in connection with negotiations. Envision United shall have the right of access at reasonable times to areas in which employees work, the right to use bulletin boards, mailboxes and other means of communication, subject to reasonable regulations, and the right to use Envision facilities at reasonable times for the purposes of meetings concerned with the rights guaranteed in the Educational Employment Relations Act, provided that there is no conflict with a scheduled activity. Access: Persons not members of the school staff who wish to come on the school site for Envision United matters during the school day shall first notify the principal’s office. Such visits shall be scheduled so as to not cause interruption to the school program.
