Right to Select Carrier. The benefits provided herein shall be provided through policies issued by an insurance company or insurance companies selected by the District, or through one or more HMO's approved by the District. The District agrees to notify the Union if it intends a change in health care providers, ninety (90) days prior to the intended change. The District further agrees to provide the Union an opportunity to bargain concerning the identity and quality of care of any contemplated insurance carrier before implementation of a change of carrier.
