Common use of Right to Select Carriers Clause in Contracts

Right to Select Carriers. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select the insurance company through which such group term life insurance policy is to be issued, and to change this insurance carrier. In this same regard, the City also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to provide such group term life insurance benefits through its own self-insurance program.
