Common use of Rights and Protection in Representation Clause in Contracts

Rights and Protection in Representation. Pursuant to Chapter 123, Public Laws of 1974, the Board hereby agrees that every member of the bargaining unit shall have the right to freely organize, join and support the Association and its affiliates, or refrain there from, for the purpose of engaging in collective negotiations and other lawful concerted activities for mutual aid and protection. The Board agrees that it shall not discourage nor deprive or coerce any employee in the enjoyment of any rights conferred by Chapter 123, Public Laws of 1974, and that it shall not discriminate against any member of the bargaining unit respect to hours, wages, or terms and conditions of employment by reason of his membership or non-membership in the Association and its affiliates.
