Common use of Rights Not Assignable Clause in Contracts

Rights Not Assignable. Except as provided in Section 10.2.1 or 10.2.2, the rights and obligations of the Operating Member qua Operating Member under this Agreement shall not be assignable voluntarily or by operation of law by the Operating Member without the express prior written Approval of the Members, and any attempted assignment without such Approval shall be void.
