Common use of Rights of Representation Clause in Contracts

Rights of Representation. The grievant has the right to Union representation at all meetings and hearings involving the grievance. The Union has the exclusive right to file grievances and be present for the adjustment of any and all grievances. The Union shall have the exclusive right to determine whether to proceed to the arbitration step of the procedure. The Union shall designate a representative to receive copies of all communications in the processing of grievances.
