Rights While on Leave. A bargaining unit member on Assault Leave shall receive his/her full salary less the amount received by that member, if any, for Workers’ Compensation which covers loss of pay sustained for the injury. However, the member's pay shall not be reduced by benefits received to cover medical expenses nursing expenses, hospital expenses, medicine and/or rehabilitation.
