Risk Passing Sample Clauses

The Risk Passing clause determines the point at which the risk of loss or damage to goods transfers from the seller to the buyer. Typically, this transfer occurs upon delivery of the goods to a specified location, such as when the buyer takes possession or when the goods are handed over to a carrier. For example, if goods are damaged after the risk has passed to the buyer, the buyer bears the loss even if they have not yet paid for the goods. This clause is essential for clarifying responsibility and allocating risk between parties, thereby preventing disputes over liability in the event of loss or damage during transit or storage.
